- Accessibility of the service centers
- Competent and fast help with rebooking and cancelations
- Functioning technology
- goodwill behavior
- marketing support
- training courses
- General booking service
- Help in crisis situations
Schauinsland Reisen and Chamäleon Reisen in 1st place among tour operators
In the all-round tour operator category, Schauinsland-Reisen once again took first place. Alltours took second place, while the Turkey specialist and beach vacation operator Bentour Reisen was voted third.
Chamäleon Reisen from Berlin was once again the winner in the specialty tour operator category. Phoenix Reisen was voted second place in the specialty tour operator category for its activities outside of cruises. Studiosus/ Marco Polo came in 3rd place.
Hotel chain Iberostar and cruise operator AIDA Cruises defend 1st place in their categories
As in the previous year, Iberostar was voted the hotel chain with the best customer service. RIU and Aldiana achieved 2nd and 3rd place, as they did last year, with Aldiana sharing 3rd place this year with Alltours Hotels with its Allsun, Club Alltoura and Sunline brands.
AIDA Cruises was also able to defend its 1st place from last year. TUI Cruises achieved 2nd place and Phoenix Reisen 3rd place.
Surprise success for Turkey
In the Tourist Board category, Turkey’s Tourism Board made it into the top 10 for the first time and then immediately took first place! The Dominican Republic, last year’s winner, was voted into second place this year. Another surprise was Greece in 3rd place.
Travel agencies at the center of the event
Globus Night was not just about the winners among the top performers. Travel agencies were also honored for their creative customer loyalty and customer acquisition campaigns. Around 80 travel agencies submitted innovative and successful concepts to touristik aktuell. A jury of travel agency, sales and marketing specialists then selected the winners. Travel agency Travelicious Reiseagentur Essen, which organized a high-quality trip to Cappadocia with a famous influencer using the “Meet & Travel” format and was able to significantly increase its sales as a result, won the “Best Travel Agency Campaign Online” category. The winner of the “Best travel agency campaign offline” category was Reiseträume travel agency. With a poster campaign combined with a photo competition, the team from Glachau not only generated a lot of attention in their small town, but also an increase of 77% in new customers!
Exuberant atmosphere at the Globus Night

Dr. Fried & Partner would like to thank all Globus Night partners and in particular Matthias Gürtler and his team at touristik aktuell for their excellent cooperation in organizing the Globus Award Online Voting and the wonderful evening at the Globus Night event.
